GPEF acquired the Czech facility management division

GPEF acquired the Czech facility management division of the multinational industrial group ABB with the division's managers as co-investors. The newly renamed company commenced independent operations under AB Facility brand.

2006

The management team adds new CEO

Miroslav Tvrdy, a former CFO of Skanska's Czech and Slovak operations, joined the team as the company's new CEO.

2007

AB Facility buys the company Energ a Nový úklid

Using additional capital from GPEF, AB Facility acquired two additional companies - Energ (energy solutions) and Nový úklid (cleaning services).

AB Facility sold EPC Motol

AB Facility sold EPC Motol, its subsidiary specialising in energy services for the largest hospital in the Czech Republic.

2008

Using additional capital from GPEF, AB Facility made another add-on investment - Tompex

Using additional capital from GPEF, AB Facility made another add-on investment - Tompex, a company specialising in green area maintenance.

2009

Focus on the integration of purchased companies

The company’s management focused on integration of newly acquired add-ons to the group and further organic growth.

2010

AB Facility has become the largest company in the field of facility management

AB Facility became the largest facility management company in the Czech Republic and commenced its operations in Slovakia.

GPEF sold by AB Facility

GPEF sold AB Facility to Penta Investments, a regional financial group.
