Since our foundation in 1999, we have worked on six private equity funds with a cumulative size of over 350 million euros, or 8 billion Czech crowns.
Many of the supported companies became the business leaders in their respective segments, also thanks to the cooperation with Genesis Capital.
Investors in Genesis funds are renowned institutions and investment firms such as the European Investment Fund (EIF), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Česká spořitelna (member of Erste Group), Amundi Czech Republic (member of international group Amundi), Kooperativa pojišťovna and Česká podnikatelská pojišťovna (both members of Vienna Insurance Group), a Finnish fund-of-funds firm eQ Private Equity, a Swiss fund-of-funds firm Alpha Associates, asset managers Raiffeisen investment company, Sirius investment company and RSJ Investments, pension funds of INVL group, family office SPM Capital or a pension fund of a renowned global company.
Genesis Capital Private Equity Funds are private equity funds aimed at investments into small and medium companies in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Austria. At present, the investment fund Genesis Private Equity Fund IV (GPEF IV) is open for investments within this segment with a volume of EUR 150 million and average size of one investment between EUR 5 and 20 million.
Genesis Capital Growth Equity Funds represent growth equity funds focused on investments into smaller and mid-size companies primarily in the Czech Republic and Slovakia with a significant growth potential. Currently active fund, covering this investment segment, is Genesis Growth Equity Fund I (GGEF I) with the size of EUR 40 million and typical size of equity investments in the range of EUR 1-4 million.
